Challenge

Tenmat required a series of high-quality CGI product visuals to showcase its specialist rail bearings and wear components used throughout the railway industry. These products are highly engineered solutions designed for demanding passenger, freight and light rail applications, but their technical benefits can be difficult to communicate through conventional product photography alone.

Solution

We created a collection of realistic CGI product renders designed specifically to showcase the form, material quality and engineering detail of Tenmat’s rail industry components.

By using carefully controlled lighting, material definition and a refined monochromatic visual style, we were able to elevate the appearance of the products while maintaining technical accuracy. The resulting CGI imagery provided Tenmat with a consistent visual asset library that could be used across both digital and print marketing channels.

Process

Product Analysis & Planning

We worked closely with the Tenmat team to understand the purpose of each component, identifying the key design features and product characteristics that needed to be highlighted within the CGI visuals.

3D Modelling & Material Development

Using technical reference information and product data, we created highly accurate 3D models of the rail components. Special attention was given to the materials and manufacturing details to ensure the renders accurately reflected the physical products.

Lighting & Visual Style

As many of the products featured dark grey and black materials, we developed a complementary monochromatic visual approach to create contrast and enhance visibility. Strategic lighting techniques were used to reveal subtle details, edges and textures that would otherwise be lost in traditional photography.

CGI Rendering & Delivery

The final 3D renders were produced at high resolution for use across a variety of applications, including brochures, technical literature, website content, exhibition graphics and sales presentations.
