Brandthing redesigned the packaging for Santhilea London’s Mascara range. The Outset Studio was commissioned to visualise new packaging designs on various metallic materials to allow the client to opt for their preferred route without getting expensive prototypes made.
Once the designs and materials were chosen the marketing imagery was rendered for websites and magazines.
Santhilea London required a collection of high-end CGI product visuals to support the launch and promotion of its mascara range. As a premium beauty brand, product presentation plays a crucial role in influencing purchasing decisions, particularly across ecommerce platforms, social media and digital advertising.
The challenge was to create visually striking imagery that communicated the luxury positioning of the product while showcasing the design, packaging and cosmetic branding in a highly polished and consistent way. Traditional product photography can be restrictive when multiple creative concepts, lighting styles and campaign assets are required, making CGI a more flexible and scalable solution.
Santhilea London needed imagery that would help the product stand out within a highly competitive beauty market while maintaining a sophisticated and premium aesthetic.
We created a series of photorealistic CGI product renders designed to elevate the visual presentation of the mascara range and reinforce the brand’s premium identity.
Using advanced 3D product visualisation techniques, we recreated the product packaging in meticulous detail and developed a collection of marketing visuals that highlighted the shape, finish and branding of the mascara. CGI allowed us to achieve complete control over lighting, reflections and composition, resulting in imagery that would be difficult to replicate consistently through traditional photography alone.
The final assets provided Santhilea London with a versatile image library suitable for ecommerce, social media campaigns, product launches, advertising and promotional materials.
Working closely with the client, we reviewed the packaging design, brand identity and marketing objectives. This helped establish the visual style, mood and presentation approach required for the CGI renders.
Detailed digital models of the mascara packaging were created to accurately replicate the physical product. Particular attention was paid to proportions, branding elements, finishes and packaging details.
Custom materials were developed to recreate the premium surfaces, metallic finishes and packaging textures associated with luxury beauty products. Every detail was refined to ensure the final renders reflected the quality of the physical product.
Using photorealistic rendering techniques, we produced a series of high-resolution visuals that showcased the mascara from multiple angles and marketing perspectives. Lighting and composition were carefully crafted to create a clean, premium and contemporary aesthetic.
The final renders were enhanced through post-production and supplied in formats suitable for websites, social media, online retail platforms, digital advertising and printed marketing materials.
