Vantrunk International commissioned the Outset to create a large number of 3D product renders for their printed and online brochure. The overhead cable management system that Vantrunk manufacture has a large amount of interlocking elements meaning we have over 150 product renders from their supplied CAD files.
Vantrunk International manufactures a comprehensive range of cable management systems used across commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. The product range includes numerous tray systems, support components, fixings and interlocking accessories, all of which need to be accurately represented within technical literature and sales materials.
With such a large catalogue of products and configurations, traditional photography presented several challenges. Photographing every component individually would have been both time-consuming and costly, while maintaining consistency across hundreds of product images would have been difficult.
Vantrunk required a scalable solution that would allow a large volume of products to be presented professionally and consistently across printed catalogues, online brochures and marketing materials. The visuals needed to be technically accurate while also elevating the overall presentation of the product range.
We developed a comprehensive CGI visualisation workflow using Vantrunk’s supplied CAD files to create a large library of photorealistic product renders.
By converting engineering CAD data into high-quality marketing visuals, we were able to generate over 150 consistent product renders covering the full cable management range. This approach allowed every product to be presented from the most effective angle while maintaining complete visual consistency throughout the catalogue.
The CGI process also created a future-proof asset library that can be expanded as new products and configurations are introduced, removing the need for repeated product photography sessions.
Working closely with Vantrunk, we reviewed and prepared the supplied engineering CAD files for visualisation. This ensured every component could be accurately translated into a marketing-ready 3D asset while preserving technical accuracy.
The CAD data was optimised for rendering and visual presentation. Particular attention was given to geometry, surface finishes and manufacturing details to ensure the products accurately reflected their real-world counterparts.
Custom materials and finishes were created to replicate the appearance of the cable management systems. Lighting and surface properties were carefully refined to enhance product detail while maintaining a clean technical aesthetic.
A large-scale rendering workflow was developed to efficiently produce over 150 product images. Consistent camera angles, lighting setups and rendering standards ensured a cohesive appearance across the entire product catalogue.
The final CGI renders were supplied in formats suitable for printed brochures, product catalogues, websites, technical documentation and sales presentations, giving Vantrunk a versatile visual asset library for ongoing marketing activity.
